Allen specializes in building performance simulations and analytics. He works closely with developers, owners, architects, MEP engineers, and project managers on large-scale commercial and industrial projects across the U.S. He has developed over 280 detailed whole-building simulation models, including some of the nation's largest recent developments, and has led energy code compliance submissions for projects in more than 45 states. His diverse portfolio spans high-rise multifamily, office buildings, industrial logistics facilities, hyperscale data centers, cold storage facilities, central plants, laboratories, museums, and manufacturing facilities.

He is a strong advocate for straightforward and practical energy codes and standards.
